The Aim
A commercial client required a futureproof energy solution that was safe, scalable and easy to maintain. With growing workplace EV demand and rising energy costs, the installation needed to support expansion of battery storage while delivering strong monitoring, reliability and long-term financial return.
The Solution
A 122.5kW SolarEdge optimised system comprising 245 JA Solar panels with panel-level monitoring was installed, alongside 46kWh of Solax battery storage delivering 30kW peak output. Twenty 22kW ground-mounted EV chargers were added with load management, supported by full planning approval, G99 application and structural assessments.
The Outcome
The installation is expected to reduce energy bills by over 46%, with a projected payback in under four years. The site now benefits from scalable battery capacity, intelligent EV charging infrastructure and advanced monitoring, providing long-term resilience, cost control and energy independence for the business.
